Richard Ferri follows the mantra of most fiction writers: write what you know, and write it well--at least, he says, that is what he tries to do. Three years after the publication of his rock 'n' roll fantasy fiction novel Bloodrock, Ferri's Blossom River Drive, a 1950s-era coming-of-age novel, was published this year. With nine as-yet-unpublished works under his belt, writing is Ferri's long-time labor of love, which he balances with his career as an English teacher at Westmont High School.
