    Police Blotter

    Burglary--Feb. 3, 1-9:45 a.m. An unknown suspect removed a coin-operated washer and dryer from a laundry room in a multi-unit apartment complex on W. Rincon Avenue. Campbell Police Department officials said no one heard or saw anything in the complex.

    Theft--Feb. 3. A woman left her credit card at a store on W. Hamilton Avenue and an unknown suspect used the card without her permission. The incident occurred Jan. 26-Feb. 3.

    Battery and Assault--Feb. 4, 6:17 p.m. A witness at a gas station on S. Winchester called the police when he saw a man hitting a woman in his car. The police located the man and he denied hitting the woman. When the woman was located she also denied being hit by the man.

    Burglary--Feb. 5, 8:02 p.m.-7:46 a.m. An unknown suspect smashed a car window and stole a car stereo on Gilman Avenue.

    Grand Theft--Feb. 5, 9 p.m.-12:28 a.m. An unknown suspect used a car jack to steal the tire and wheel off a car in a parking stall on Sharmon Palms Lane.

    Battery--Feb. 6, 4:45 a.m.. A 17-year-old girl on Laura Drive slapped and kicked her mother. This was not the first incident and the girl was booked into juvenile hall.

    Assault and Battery--Feb. 6, 4:59 a.m. A 57-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman got into an argument on Railway Avenue. The man tackled the woman and tried to take away her video camera. The woman responded by slapping the man. Both denied what the other claimed.

    Burglary--Feb. 6, 11:30 p.m.-7:50 a.m. Several incidents occurred within the same time frame on Sharmon Palms Lane in the carport area. Unknown unsuspect(s) smashed several car windows and ransacked several vehicles. One car had missing tools, and another car had a CD stolen.

    Petty Theft-- Feb. 6, 4 a.m.. A 17-year-old male went into a store on S. Bascom Avenue and concealed five CDs in his coat pockets and left without paying.

    Theft--Feb. 6, 4:30-7:10 a.m. An unknown suspect on W. Hacienda Avenue smashed the rear window of a car and stole electronic equipment.

    Forgery--Feb. 6, 10:30 a.m. A 22-year-old male opened a bank account with a fraudulent check. The suspect withdrew funds before he was caught by bank investigators.

    Stolen Vehicle--Feb. 8, 2:28 a.m. While visiting friends on Ravens Court, a woman handed her car keys to a man and asked him to move her car. The man got in the car and drove off. He never returned.
