    Police Blotter

    Theft--Feb. 25, 8 p.m.-7:30 a.m. A parked car on W. Hamilton Avenue was found with its left window broken and its CD player stolen.

    Vandalism--Feb. 27, 9:30 p.m. A 36-year-old male drove his pickup truck into the front window of a store on Dell Avenue. The accident caused extensive damage to the front of the business. When the authorities arrived, the man attempted to flee in his truck and backed into a building, which caused minor damage. He was intoxicated and booked into jail by the Campbell Police.

    Theft--Feb. 27, 10 p.m.-4 a.m. An unknown suspect broke the rear window of a car on Dell Avenue and stole a briefcase and checks.

    Stolen Car--Feb. 28, 11:50 p.m. A 16-year-old male was stopped by authorities for driving with a car's high-beam headlights on at Louise Court and Hazelwood Drive. He had stolen his parents' car and his parents reported the car missing. The juvenile was trying to escape from an electronic monitoring program. He was taken into custody and booked into the Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall.

    Robbery--March 1, 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m. An unknown suspect broke a car window on Creekside Way and stole tools and stereo equipment.

    Auto Theft--March 4, 11:50 p.m. Authorities spotted a 28-year-old San Jose male attempting to break into a car with a plastic key on Rincon Avenue. The man fled on foot and was later seen on LeMeil Court, where the police surrounded the area. The suspect , who was on parole, was found hiding in a backyard on Kim Court and taken into custody by police.

    Terrorist Threat--March 7, 3 p.m. Recently fired, a disgruntled man called his former employer on White Oaks Road and said he was on his way to the business with a shotgun to "blow someone away." The business was evacuated, but the alleged employee never arrived.

    School Suspension--March 8, 10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. A 14-year-old juvenile was caught drinking at school. She was suspended, but when her mother arrived at the school, the girl refused to go home. After five hours of trying to persuade the girl to leave with her mother, authorities were called and the girl was arrested and taken to juvenile hall.
