    Police Blotter

    Property Damage--April 4, 10 p.m. An 18-year-old male lost control of his car at the intersection of Whitwood Lane and Fulton Street. He collided with a parked car and then fled the scene. The man was later found at the corners of Bucknall Road and Fulton Drive. He was taken to Valley Medical Center to be treated for his injuries.

    Check Fraud--April 4. Unknown suspects stole several checks from a victim's car on Sonuca Avenue. The suspects cashed the checks at several stores. The incident occurred between March 19 and 25.

    Fire--April 4, 3:15 p.m. A three-alarm fire caused major damage to a medical center on E. Hamilton Avenue. The fire was reported by citizens across the street at the Carrows Restaurant. The fire caused an estimated $200,000 to $300,000 in damage to the 12-unit center. Three of the units were severely damaged.

    Drunk in Public--April 1, 11:05 p.m. An 18-year-old male was reported by his father to be intoxicated and riding a Go-Ped--a motorized scooter--in the neighborhood. He was stopped by the police for riding without a helmet and was intoxicated and unable to take care of himself.

    Theft--March 31. A woman shopping in a store on Winchester Ave. left her purse unattended in her shopping cart and it was stolen. The incident occurred March 30-31.

    Vandalism--March 27, 10:50 p.m. Two 19-year-old males and one 18-year-old male were using a Little League table at Hamilton Avenue to practice their kung fu. The three suspects destroyed the table and fled when the police arrived. The authorities pursued the suspects on foot and all three were captured and booked into jail.

    Sexual Battery--March 26, 6:55 p.m. A woman was running on the Los Gatos Creek Trail near Campisi Way when she passed a man jogging in the opposite direction. The man turned around and began running behind the woman. As he passed the woman, he grabbed her breast. The suspect was described as a white or Hispanic man, with dark hair, short legs and a stocky build, weighing approximately 170 pounds and approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall.

    Auto Theft--March 26, 5:20 a.m. A man on Watson Drive heard his car alarm go off and went outside to investigate. He found his window smashed and his laptop computer stolen.
