    Police Blotter

    Meth Lab and Foot Chase--April 24, 5:18 p.m. A makeshift methamphetamine lab was discovered in a woman's garage on Superior Drive last week. After the 40-year-old woman was arrested, she managed to break her handcuffs and leap out of the police car while it was moving at around 20-25 mph. A Campbell police officer chased the woman down and tackled her to the ground. She was then transported to Valley Medical Center.

    Armed Robbery--April 23, 7:59 p.m. A gunman wearing a red baseball cap and blue hooded sweatshirt took an undisclosed sum of money from the AM-PM on the corner of Campbell Avenue and Winchester Boulevard last Friday before fleeing on foot. He also took several credit slips.

    Alcohol to Minors--April 23, 11:25 p.m. A clerk at L&F Corner Market was cited last week after selling alcohol to two minors. A Campbell police officer spotted the minors as they were leaving the store with the beer. When asked, they confessed that the clerk had not checked their IDs.

    Digging in Mom's Purse--April 22, 9:30 p.m. A woman phoned the Campbell police to report that her 13-year-old son had been stealing money from her purse, and she wished to press charges.

    Child Endangerment--April 21, 6:15 p.m. A 34-year-old man who was spending the day with his son, 8, left the boy on the doorstep of the boy's mother's house, although the mother was not home. According to Campbell police reports, "the suspect got tired of his son." The boy was alone for about 90 minutes before the mom returned.

    Borrowing the Car--April 19. After a 16-year-old boy borrowed his grandpoliceeefather's car without asking, the grandfather phoned the Campbell police and asked that the boy be cited.
