    Police Blotter

Brute in Waiting--May 8, 2:17 p.m. An impatient Longs Drugs customer became so enraged by a slow check-out clerk
Saturday that he pulled the clerk outside and assaulted him. The suspect, between 18 and 25 with tattoos on both arms and a ponytail, fled through the parking lot on foot after the beating. The clerk received seven stitches and will undoubtedly have many litigious opportunities.

Millennial Paranoia--May 7, 5:00 p.m. After a 50-year-old renter moved out of his Marathon Drive apartment, the landlord discovered several firearms, hundreds of rounds of ammunition, gunpowder and fuses.

Church Raid--May 5. At some point in the night, an unknown suspect broke into the music room at First Baptist Church on Llewellyn and stole three speakers. The church affiliate also requested CPD help because the skate-boarders are back using the parking lot as a play zone.

Peeping Tom--May 5, 8:45 p.m. A Campbell police officer discovered a 37-year-old man spying on his girlfriend at Rincon Avenue and 4th Street. Turns out he had a gram of cocaine in his possession, and a $6000 outstanding warrant.

Armed and Verbally Abusive--May 5, 9:27 p.m. When police responded to a domestic violence call on Leigh Avenue, the man, 45, had used no violence on his wife and only made verbal threats. Nonetheless, police took his seven guns, three rifles and well over one thousand rounds of ammunition. According to the police report, the suspect was "not happy we took his weapons."

Drugs, Guns & Sex--May 3, 2:15 a.m. A 65-year-old man seated in his car at Virginia and Hacienda was arrested after police officers found a loaded .22 revolver. Two other loaded guns were discovered along with several cameras, binoculars, sexual diaries, a video camera and marijuana.
