    Police Blotter

    Stolen Car--May 5, 9:15-10 p.m. A man left a restaurant and returned to his rental car on S. Central Avenue, but the car had been stolen. A witness told authorities he had seen the man--described as having dark hair and wearing a dark jacket--enter the car at approximately 9:15 p.m.

    Vandalism--May 3, 4-6 p.m. An unknown suspect on S. Winchester Boulevard broke the windshield of a car with a rock.

    Robbery--May 3, 11:03 p.m. An unknown suspect stole two bottles of liquor from a store on S. Winchester Boulevard. A man tried to stop the suspect and was punched in the face. The unknown suspect fled with three other suspects in a blue car.

    Shoplifting--May 3, 2:45 p.m. A 35-year-old male was caught shoplifting in a store on E. Hamilton Avenue. He had two outstanding warrants for his arrest for $20,000 and was booked into jail by authorities.

    Theft--May 2, 12:30-1 p.m. An unknown suspect on E. Hamilton Avenue removed tools from a pickup truck.

    Traffic Violation--May 2, 9:15 a.m. A 20-year-old man was stopped on Rincon Avenue for a traffic violation; he had $7,500 in outstanding traffic warrants. The man was booked into jail.

    Armed Robbery--May 2, 1:53 a.m. An unknown suspect pointed a small handgun at a store clerk on S. Winchester Boulevard. The suspect was last seen heading toward Budd Avenue on foot. He was described as a black adult male wearing a black baseball cap, black T-shirt and black pants.

    Drug Citation--May 1, 1:44 p.m. A 12-year-old girl at 1585 More Ave. bought two marijuana cigarettes; she was arrested and cited.

    Shoplifter--May 1, 1 p.m. A 45-year-old homeless man took property from a store on E. Hamilton Ave. to sell for food. He was cited.

    Theft--April 30, 11:18 a.m. Two suspects--a 35-year-old male and a 22-year-old male--were stopped for a traffic violation on Budd Avenue. The 35-year-old male had a suspended driver's license and the 22-year-old male had $10,000 in outstanding warrants. A search of the car uncovered stolen credit cards, personal property and mail. A follow-up search at the suspects' home located a third suspect, a 25-year-old man, who was on parole and in possession of stolen credit cards.
