Basketball camp
Basketball Basics, a fundamentals basketball camp for boys and girls in grades 5-8, will be held at Westmont High School this summer under the direction of girls basketball coach Jerry Pettit.
Camps are scheduled for June 28-July 9 for boys and July 12-23 for girls. Camp hours are 8 a.m.-noon for players in grades 5-6, and 1-5 p.m. for players in grades 7-8. The cost is $165.

The Wolverines
The Campbell Wolverines are accepting signups from youngsters ages 8-14 interested in participating in a tackle football program or in becoming cheerleaders this fall. For more information, call 379-8133 or e-mail sdriggs@msn.com.
Football signups
It's time to start thinking about the fall Pop Warner Football season, and youngsters ages 8-15 living in Los Gatos, Saratoga and Campbell can sign up as either football players or cheerleaders.
Players must have been born between Aug. 1, 1983, and July 31, 1991, and 15-year-old players must be under 125 pounds.
Coaches for football and cheerleading are also needed.

Volleyball league
Registration is now under way for an eight-week instructional volleyball league season that will run May 22-July 31 at Los Gatos High School.
The league, part of the United States Youth Volleyball League, is open to boys and girls ages 8-14, and the registration fee of $80 includes instruction, practices, games, a uniform top and membership in the USYVL and USA Volleyball.

Campbell Colts
The Campbell Moreland Pony baseball league will hold Colt division signups for players ages 15-16 Saturdays from 9 a.m.-noon in the clubhouse at John D. Morgan Park. Managers and coaches are also needed. For information, call 377-9007.
Hoop camp
The annual Sid Williams Basketball Camp returns to Fisher Middle School July 12-16 for players entering grades 5-9.
Camp hours are 1-3:30 p.m. for boys and girls entering grades 5-6 and 4-7 p.m. for boys and girls entering grades 7-9.
