Family and friends describe the anatomy of a double murder

Suzanne Snyder met Larry Lavell when she was in her early twenties. After a difficult marriage and years of abuse, their troubled relationship ended when Snyder and her new boyfriend, Howard Beiderman, were found stabbed to death in her Los Gatos home. According to family and friends, Snyder's relationship with Lavell was not completely inexplicable, considering that both came from broken homes. Now, people close to Snyder and Lavell describe the troubled relationship that led to Snyder's death and Lavell's guilty plea at his arraignment for murder.   More
