    School Safety

    Area schools make sure students are safe and secure on campus


    In many local schools, classes are in session--and despite a rash of school shootings on the national scene, area students should have nothing to fear. Officials from all three school districts in Campbell maintain that each campus is a safe environment for students. The Moreland, Campbell Union and Campbell Union High School districts uphold a zero-tolerance policy toward weapons; any student found violating this policy will be expelled. School administrators, however, have taken pro-active measures to make sure students don't have to resort to the events of Pearl or Littleton.   More
