It's the evening before opening night, and there are still bugs to be hammered out of 'imagine it!'--the first and only Las Vegas-style production to appear in the Bay Area. While touch-up work is being done to the theater, cast and crew scuttle about setting up lights, perfecting sound and practicing dance moves onstage. The clamor dies down when director James DuBeq claps his hands, and the theater goes hushed and dark. Ready or not, it's showtime.
