(asked at Woolworth Garden Center)

Just being with my family and being thankful that my whole family is together. The tradition is dinner and everybody sits around with their pants unzipped on the couch afterwards watching TV ... saying "Jesus, I shouldn't have eaten that last big piece of pie." Awesome appliance? I think the refrigerator is probably one of the greatest conveniences. It's better than an ice box, right?

Getting together with family is the tradition, but sitting around and reminiscing about past Thanksgivings is really the nicest part of the day. Cool convenience? I think pretty much all those things like the refrigerator and the stove. I mean it's all stuff that we have and it's all stuff that we take for granted, but a lot of people don't really have all the stuff that we have. I mean, we're not cooking outside over a fire.

We don't really have any 'cause we're English. We celebrate it with a dinner, but it's very quiet and there are only four of us. We make roasted goose, which is a very traditional English meal, served with roasted potatoes, Brussels sprouts, and a sage and onion dressing. Terrific tool? Well, we've just had our kitchen remodeled so I've lived without a lot of major appliances for a while now. Not having a stove was unbearable.

Before we're allowed to eat dinner we pick names for Christmas, so we know long before Christmas who we need to buy for. We also take a family portrait every Thanksgiving. After we've done that, we get out of our fancy clothes and put on the elastic waistbands. Kitchen aid? I love the coffee maker. I used to use it all the time, but now I can't drink too much coffee. Still, I have fond memories.
