Rare, Medium or Well Done?--Dec. 9, 2:16 a.m. A 37-year-old woman had just stolen a barbecue grill when a police officer spotted her. She fled, but was caught and booked.
A Christmas Carol--Dec. 9, 1:30 a.m. A 40-year-old man told police that "the voices" were instructing him to damage property, which he did. The voices also told him he needed to be arrested, but instead he was taken to Emergency Protective Services.
Spinning Wheels--Dec. 9, 12:43 a.m. A 28-year-old man was spinning his tires while driving on Union Avenue at Campbell Avenue. He had a blood-alcohol level of 0.12 percent and was booked for driving under the influence.
Crank Call--Dec. 8, 7:15 p.m. A 40-year-old man was arrested at his residence on Union Avenue for a probation violation. Methamphetamine was found in his apartment.
Santa's Helper--Dec. 8. An unknown suspect broke into a locked storage facility on Curtner Avenue and took a washer, a dryer, a TV, an entertainment center, an antique radio and a stereo.
Punch Drunk--Dec. 5, 9:00 p.m. A 39-year-old transient was booked after someone reported to police that he was loitering behind an apartment building on W. Hamilton Avenue. The suspect was intoxicated.
Pulpit Bully--Dec. 5, 8:04 p.m. A 46-year-old Campbell man was reported to police as causing a disturbance during Mass at a church on Winchester Boulevard. He was drunk and uncooperative.
The Spouse Before Christmas--Dec. 5, 12:46 a.m. A 43-year-old woman was mad at her husband, so she hit him. She was booked; he had no injury.
Tool Time--Dec. 4. A 44-year-old suspect reportedly stole tools and a printer from a house on N. Central Avenue.
