    Students from Old Orchard School paint Christmas cards for elderly residents


    At Old Orchard School, tucked behind the Congregational Church of Campbell on Campbell Avenue, parent volunteers scrambled two weeks ago to help polo-shirted children with a holiday project--making Christmas cards for Meals on Wheels recipients. Led by parent Molly McCarthy, students in kindergarten through second grade cut out various shapes--Christmas trees, hearts and others that are open to interpretation--and pasted them to blank cards, then rolled paint onto them and slapped them against other blank cards to create a professional-looking reverse-stenciling effect.   More
