Big Heart: Campbell residents Gillian August-Thorp, with daughter, Klara, and husband, Deron Thorp, started the nonprofit S.H.I.P.Aid, to send medical and educational supplies to the country of Lesotho in Africa. The small impoverished country within the borders of South Africa has been ravaged by AIDS.
