Candidate forum aids
in resident's decision
As a new resident of Campbell, I read the articles on the candidates for city council in the newspaper and was looking forward to the debate on Sept. 21.
I'm glad I watched it because it helped to narrow down my choices. Dan Furtado, Tom Francois and Jane Kennedy seem like solid candidates, but I felt like I need more information on Margie Mitchell. I also know that I'm not voting for Evan Low. I wonder, where did this guy come from? He didn't have anything substantive to say. If the biggest problem Campbell has, according to Low, is that its library isn't open on Sundays, then I'd say things are going pretty darn good.
I love the farmers market and creek trail. In my opinion, I want to see people elected who can keep Campbell going in the right direction.
