Bombshell candle
party will be a
glowing event
Downtown Campbell's Bombshell Boutique will be glowing tonight. The business is hosting its first candle party for a night of fun and prizes.
Residents can bring their ugliest candles that have been hiding in the closet to the free Jan. 11 event, beginning at 6 p.m.
The person with the ugliest candle will win a new candle from PartyLite. The person who brings the most guests to the candle party will also win a special party crasher prize.
The nighttime fun includes snacks and prizes.
Gift certificates from Bombshell Boutique and other local businesses will be raffled off at the party.

who gives most
to Orchard City
Who will capture Campbell's the "Citizen of the Year" title or be honored with the "Business of the Year" award? Those who want to weigh in on the discussion can vote until Jan. 15.
The Campbell Chamber of Commerce sponsors the awards, and applications are available at the office, 1628 W. Campbell Ave.
The individual and business honors are based on community service and contributions of time and energy for the betterment of Campbell.
Candidates for Citizen of the Year do not have to be Campbell residents, but the business award must go to a business that is a member of the Campbell Chamber and been in business at least five years.
