Leigh High turns into a Crab Shack for fundraiser

Leigh High School's cafeteria will be transformed into the Leigh Crab Shack for the school's annual Crab Fest fundraiser on Feb. 2 from 6 to 9 p.m.

The event will include all-you-can-eat fresh cracked Dungeness crab, live entertainment by student musicians, a raffle and silent auction.

The fundraiser is open to the entire community and is the school's biggest fundraiser of the year. The proceeds benefit the high school's instrumental music department. The funds purchase, repair and replace instruments, pay for entrance fees and transportation to state competitions.

Tickets are $45 and can be purchased at www.leighband.org. For more information, contact Laurel Prevetti at 408.266.0328. Leigh High School is located at 5210 Leigh Ave.
