Bintang courts set to open

Bintang Badminton just opened its second facility in the Bay Area, in Campbell, with the original gym in Sunnyvale. Bintang converted a 24,000-square-foot warehouse into a state of the art badminton facility in hopes of promoting the sport. It features 11 professional courts on a wooden suspension flooring with Olympic standard Yonex court mats on top. Also, the court has a full time service pro shop.

Bintang Badminton has a coaching program led by co-owner Phu Khuu, who led the Mission San Jose and Saratoga high school badminton teams to league championships and produced many local Central Coast Section and North Coast Section champions.

The official grand opening is in mid-March and will offer special membership promotions.
