    De Anza Bombing Thwarted

Police arrest suspect, 19, with 20 molotov cocktails, 30 pipe bombs

San Jose Police have arrested a man who they say intended to plant many bombs at the De Anza College campus cafeteria and detonate them during the busy Monday lunch hour. Joseph Deguzman, 19, was arrested on charges of possession of explosive devices, possession of illegal firearms, and possession of bomb-making materials on the evening of Jan. 29. Police say a photo-technician at Longs Drug Store on Capitol Expressway alerted them to Deguzman's activities.   More
