    College Majors Seminar

    Insight College Prep Centers is holding a College Majors Seminar for member high school students and parents on April 20, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the center, 20380 Town Center Lane, Suite 167, Cupertino. The seminar is structured to inform students about the most common college majors, what they are, what general types of classes they include and how they relate to careers.     Dance Dialogues

    Ballet San Jose Silicon Valley presents Dance Dialogues, a series of free lectures that offer special insights into the world of ballet. The hour-long presentations incorporate colorful slides, anecdotes and a question and answer session. The third program, "But is it ballet?: Popular culture's influence on the fine arts" will take place locally on April 19, from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Cupertino Public Library. The lectures are free and open to the public. Other locations include the Los Altos Public Library, the Santa Teresa Public Library and the Rose Garden Library.     The Grace of Spring

    Women are invited to participate in a spring grace program on April 21, from 9:15 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Sunny View Retirement Community, 22445 Cupertino Road. Diane Dreher, author and spiritual counselor, will lead the morning session, "Inner Gardening" and Suzanne Young, M.A., spiritual director, will lead the afternoon program, "Body Blessings."     Career Action Center

    The Career Action Center of Cupertino is hosting a free open house on April 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the center, 10420 Bubb Road, Suite 100, Cupertino. The program will include a free introduction to the center and includes networking and learning opportunities. The guest speaker for the afternoon will be Craig Harrison.
