It's time for CEEF golf tournament fundraiser

    By MELISSA MATCHAK

The Cupertino Educational Endowment Foundation will host its 15th annual Golf Tournament on May 23, at Cinnabar Hills Golf Club. The tournament will benefit the Cupertino Union School District's Arts and Information Literacy programs. Registration and lunch, provided by the Outback Steakhouse restaurant, will begin at 10:30 a.m. The golf tournament, in a four-person, best-ball scramble format, will begin with a shotgun start at noon.

An awards dinner and auction will be held the same day, beginning at 6:30 p.m. with cocktails and dinner at 7 p.m. The auction will include golf packages at several area golf clubs, a playing lesson for four with a PGA touring pro, jewelry, an Oakland A's baseball package and more.

Entry fee is $200 per player and includes the green fee, golf cart, practice balls, lunch, tee prizes, the awards dinner and tournament awards. Reservations are limited to the first 216 paid participants and must be made by May 17. For more information, call 408.446.2333.
