    Sheriff's Report

    The following incidents were culled from reports filed by deputies at the sheriff's Westside Substation.

    Vehicle Burglary--Aug. 8, 9:30 a.m., 19400 block of Pruneridge Avenue. Two leaf blowers and a chainsaw were stolen from a trailer.

    Grand Theft--Aug. 7, 12 p.m., 10400 block of Bandley Drive. A black briefcase and its contents were stolen from a workplace.

    Identity Theft--Aug. 9, 3:45 p.m., 10400 block of Sterling Boulevard. Fraudulent accounts were opened in Ohio under the victim's name.

    Auto Burglary--Aug. 6, 1:30 p.m., 20900 block of Valley Green Drive. The victim's car was broken into and a $4,000 laptop was stolen.

    Stolen Vehicle--Aug. 6, 6:30 a.m., 10300 block of Scenic Boulevard. The victim's car was stolen from in front of his residence.

    Assault with a Deadly Weapon--Aug. 9, 9:53 p.m., 10100 block of Park Circle East. A man punched and kicked his sister during a fight. The sister later complained of pain throughout her body.

    Auto Burglary--Aug. 10, 2:05 p.m., 10300 block of N. Wolfe Road. A car was broken into and several items, including a $4,000 laptop, were stolen.

    Residential Burglary--Aug. 10, 4 p.m., 19300 block of Greenwood Drive. The victim came home and found a bedroom window open. Property had been moved, but nothing was missing.

    Residential Burglary--Aug. 9, 8:30 a.m., 7640 Echo Hill Court. Unknown suspect(s) entered the victim's garage and home and stole several items.

    Forgery/Grand Theft--Aug. 12, 10:10 a.m., 10100 block of Amelia Court. Suspect(s) stole several checks from the victim's home, then forged them for a total of $3,169.24.

    Grand Theft--Aug. 13, 11:15 a.m., 10200 block of S. De Anza Boulevard. Someone took two Dell computers from a high-tech company.
