    Sheriff's Report

    The following incidents were culled from reports filed by deputies at the sheriff's Westside Substation.

    Residential Burglary--Aug. 24, 6:56 p.m., 10100 block of Alhambra Avenue. Suspect(s) entered residence through unknown method and took two shirts valued at $20.

    Vandalism--Aug. 20, 8:20 p.m., N. Wolfe Road at 280. Tires were punctured on vehicle parked at a construction site.

    Petty Theft--Aug. 26, 11:25 a.m., 20500 block of Shady Oak Lane. Wallet in plain view was taken from victim's unlocked car.

    Annoying or Harassing Phone Calls--Aug. 25, 3:30 p.m., 10600 block of Rosewood. Known person, who frequently was calling and hanging up, was contacted by victim and asked to stop. He did not and was cited and released.

    Vandalism--Aug. 25, 2:35 p.m., 10200 block of N. Foothill Boulevard. Victim reported suspect intentionally damaged her parked car.

    Burglary--Aug. 25, 11:15 a.m., 11000 block of Craft Drive. Suspect(s) broke into home of vacationing resident--unknown what items were taken.

    Grand Theft--Aug. 20, 8:40 a.m., 21800 block of McClellan Road. Unknown suspect(s) took approximately $1,800 worth of black industrial copper wiring from job site.

    Identity Theft--Aug. 23, 4:45 p.m., 21200 block of Gardena. Victim's name, Social Security number and California driver's license were used to open an account and purchase approximately $3,232 worth of computers and equipment.

    Auto Theft--Aug. 24, 9:55 p.m., 10700 block of Rosewood. Car was stolen from victim's carport at apartment complex.

    Grand Theft--Aug. 20, 7:30 p.m., 10100 block of N. Wolfe Road. An unusually crowded retail store fell victim to shoplifting of 125 items valued at approximately $5,000.

    Burglary--Aug. 23, 6:10 a.m., 20700 block of Stevens Creek Boulevard. Suspect(s) entered building through a roof vent, pried open a safe and took approximately $2,500 in U.S. currency.
