    Sheriff's Report

    The following incidents were culled from reports filed by deputies at the sheriff's Westside Substation.

    Attempted Burglary--Sept. 19, 9:20 a.m., 7000 block of Rollingdell Drive. A screen door was cut in an attempt to open a sliding glass door, but no entry was made.

    Theft--Sept. 19, 9:55 a.m., 10100 block of Barbara Lane. Suspect stole a computer and accessories from an office desk.

    Theft--Sept. 19, 2:10 p.m., 10300 block of North Wolfe Road. A suspect in a retail store was observed placing several items into a bag in the fitting room and left the store without paying.

    Drunk in Public--Sept. 21, 2:10 a.m., Homestead Road and Heron Avenue. Intoxicated male attempting to enter a bar after it had closed was booked into main jail.

    Vandalism--Sept. 21, 2 p.m. 19000 block Portal Avenue. Victim returned to car after work and found left rear passenger door window shattered.

    Theft--Sept. 22, 11:15 a.m., 10000 block of North Wolfe Road. Car stereo equipment was stolen from vehicle.

    Theft--Sept. 24, 8 a.m., 10000 block of North Wolfe Road. An LCD projector valued at approximately $6000 was stolen from a local business.

    Stolen Vehicle--Sept. 24, 7:30 p.m., 19000 block of Stevens Creek Boulevard. A vehicle was stolen from a public parking lot.
