The Cupertino CourierCandidate forumsThe League of Women Voters is sponsoring three candidate forums to help voters with their decisions in the upcoming Nov. 4 election. At 7:30 p.m., on Oct. 15, the five City Council candidates will answer questions at a forum co-sponsored by the League and the American Association of University Women. The forum, held in the Cupertino City Council Chambers at City Hall will be televised live on The City Channel. The Cupertino Union School District candidates will participate in a forum at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 23 at Eisnehower Elementary School, 277 Rodonovan Dr., Santa Clara. At 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 29, the League is sponsoring a forum for the candidates in the Foothill-DeAnza Community College District at Mountain View City Hall, 500 Castro St. In addition to the League events, the Chinese School is sponsoring a forum for the school district candidates at 7:15 p.m., Friday, Oct. 17, at Monta Vista High School. The forum is open to the public.
