Jenne Ristau, 8, and Frances Nan, 7, listen to a story in the McAuliffe Elementary School library, which was able to buy more books for its shelves with help from Friends of CEEF. The program was piloted by McWhorter's Stationers of Cupertino, which donated 10 percent of its sales for two days to CUSD libraries. This year, Le Boulanger Bakery and Cafe will donate to the fund with a percentage of sales on Oct. 22; Canton Delights restaurant will participate on Oct. 23; and McWhorter's will continue its support Oct. 24 and 25.
