The following incidents were culled from reports filed by deputies at the sheriff's Westside Substation.
Theft—June 13, 6 p.m., N. Wolfe Road at Stevens Creek Blvd. Store security saw a girl take three shirts and leave the store. The girl was cited and released to her parents. The value of the goods was less than $45.
Drunk in Public—June 13, 4:58 p.m., Rollingdell Drive. A sheriff's deputy responded to a request for assistance from the fire department. The man at the scene displayed signs of being under the influence. He was arrested and was booked into the main jail.
Theft—June 13, 4:50 p.m., Homestead Road at Franco Court. Security saw an individual conceal two boxes of perfume and leave the store. They placed the person under private person's arrest. The individual was then cited and released at the scene.
Theft—June 13, 3:30 p.m., N. Wolfe Road at Vallco Parkway. A woman entered the accessory department at a retail store and placed items into her shopping bag. She then exited without paying. She was stopped by a loss prevention officer and cited and released. Merchandise was valued at $247.60.
Commercial Burglary—June 12, 4:40 p.m., Stevens Creek and De Anza boulevards. A man placed several articles of clothing in his shopping bag while he was being watched on surveillance. He left the bag by the door and then came back and grabbed the bag and ran out the door. The man was arrested and booked into the main jail. The items were valued at $36.
