Sheriff's Report
The following incidents were culled from reports filed by deputies at the sheriff's Westside Substation.

Burglary—July 11, 9 p.m., Bandley Drive. An employee witnessed a minor take a bottle of water from a store and exit the store without paying for it. The minor was stopped and admitted she planned to take the water. She was cited and released.

Disrupting of a church service—July 11, 10:45 a.m., Stelling Road. An individual entered a church service and proceeded to yell at one of the church members. The person was booked into the main jail to prevent a recurrence.

Petty theft—July 10, 3:45 p.m., Stevens Creek Boulevard. A security officer saw a woman place jewelry into her purse and then exit the store. She was stopped by the officer and the jewelry was found still in her purse. She was cited and released at the scene.

Assault with a deadly weapon—July 10, 12:22 a.m., Homestead Road at Blaney Avenue. In a bar fight over a woman, an man broke a glass bottle over the head of another individual, causing injury. The man was escorted out by employees and taken into custody.

Found missing person—July 10, 5 a.m., De Anza Boulevard. An officer found a person who had been reported missing earlier in the day and canceled the missing person report.

Found property—July 10, 10:15 a.m., Bette Avenue. An individual found 75 pieces of ammunition, which he turned over to the Sheriff's Department to be destroyed.
