Chris Benson of C.B. Hannegan's delivered a pickup load of nonperishable food on Dec. 22. The donation to the center was courtesy of C.B. Hannegan's employees and customers who participated in the pub's annual food drive. The nutrition center serves a daily meal five days a week for seniors who find it difficult to shop or cook or who don't like to eat alone. Volunteers and staff at the center also distributed bags of groceries to more than 20 homebound seniors.
