    Obituaries

    Else Bohne

    Los Gatos resident Else Magdalena "Omi" Bohne died Nov. 21 at the age of 99.

    Born March 26, 1900, in Bremen, Germany, Bohne was the 10th child in a prominent business family. She attended business college and worked for five years in Berlin before returning to Bremen in 1925. She soon met Nathan Felzcer, whom she married in 1927.

    Bohne moved to the United States in 1958 and lived with her daughter, Julia, and family in Santa Barbara, Calif. The family relocated to Los Gatos in 1968. Bohne was known by family and friends as an animal lover; she particularly liked cats, which she often fostered for animal-rescue organizations.

    Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Julia and Hans Woehrmann of Los Gatos; grandsons Oliver Woehrmann of Hollister and Marcos Woehrmann of Fremont; and great-grandchildren Hannah, Zoë and Maxwell Woehrmann.

    Donations may be made to the Else Bohne Memorial Fund at the Humane Society of Santa Clara Valley, 2530 Lafayette St., Santa Clara, 95050.

    Dee Tully

    Dee Jessie Tully of Los Gatos died Dec. 13 at the age of 87.

    Tully was born Nov. 6, 1912. A native of Coos Bay, Ore., she was a retired funeral director. She was a member of We and Our Neighbors, past president of the Lowell Grammar School and Union Middle School PTAs, and a member of the First Methodist Church of San Jose. She was also an associate member of the National Funeral Directors Association.

    Survivors include husband Wendell S. Tully of Los Gatos; sons Miles Stephen Tully of San Jose and Neal C. Tully of Hiddonfield, N.J.; grandchildren Stephen, David, Dennis, and Kevin Tully and Colleen Tully Agnew; and great-grandchildren Michael, Kelly and Justin Tully and Katie Tully Agnew.

    Claire Davis

    Former Los Gatan Claire O'Connell Flanagan Davis died Dec. 26 in Concord, where she had been residing. She was 95.

    Davis was born Nov. 13, 1904, in San Francisco and was raised in Oakland. She moved to Los Gatos in 1951, where she and her late husband ran a poultry shop on E. Main Street.

    Davis also worked for many years for the Los Gatos-Saratoga Joint Union High School District as a superintendent's secretary. Davis was also an active volunteer at the Los Gatos campus of Eastfield Ming Quong in the 1960s and '70s.

    Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law Robert and MariLee Flanagan of Concord and William and Barbara Flanagan of Los Gatos; grandchildren Michael Flanagan of Menlo Park, Laurie Flanagan of Carmel, Daniel Flanagan of Martinez, Mathew Flanagan of Concord, William Flanagan of Crockett and Mary Beth Flanagan of Chico; and seven great-grandchildren.

    Donations may be made to Eastfield Ming Quong, 251 Llewellyn Ave., Campbell, 95008.
