Town hires program coordinator for its Community Services Department

Barbara Coy-Bulicz has been hired as program coordinator for the town's Community Services Department. Coy-Bulicz will oversee the town's housing conservation, community grant and Community Development Block Grant programs, and she'll be the staff liaison to the Los Gatos Arts Commission.

Before coming to Los Gatos, Coy-Bulicz worked for the cities of Simi Valley and Moorpark; she served the two Southern California cities in various capacities including administrative analysis, purchasing and program management.

Parks department discusses new construction along LG Creek Trail

The Santa Clara County Parks and Recreation Department has set an April 1 public information meeting to discuss the proposed Lexington Dam Face Trail construction project. Those who use the Los Gatos Creek Trail are encouraged to attend to find out how the project will affect trail access.

The meeting will be held at the Los Gatos Neighborhood Center, 208 E. Main Street, room 11 at 7:30 p.m. For more information, call Debbie Turpen at 358-3741, ext. 142.

Tom Campbell to speak at the Terraces in April

Congressman Tom Campbell is set to speak at the Terraces of Los Gatos on April 19 at 3 p.m. The Republican congressman will address the balanced-budget debate, proposed cuts in Medicare and Social Security and the future of health care in general. Campbell will also take questions from the audience.

Campbell's appearance is part of the Terraces' Senior Living Seminar Series, which is open to the public. The Terraces are located at 800 Blossom Hill Road. For more information, call Pamela Bancroft at 356-1006.
