Former longtime Los Gatans Phil and Molly Burke, now of Aptos, announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Burke, to Andre Bessette, son of Pat and June Bessette of Paxton, Mass.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of St. Francis High School and San Francisco State University. She is a public relations manager with Red Envelope Gifts in San Francisco.
Her fiancé is a graduate of Boston College and Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He is a product manager for Arthrocare, a medical device company.
They plan a July wedding.

Willie and Helen Cadiente of Los Gatos announce the engagement of their daughter, Clarissa Mayor Cadiente, to Jesse Castrance, son of Cas and Helen Castrance of San Jose.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Archbishop Mitty High School and the University of San Francisco. She is a pediatric intensive care nurse at UCLA Medical Center.
Her fiancé is a graduate of Overfelt High School and San Jose State University. He is a fraud investigator for Nordstrom.
They plan a June wedding.
