For the fourth and final concert of its 1999-2000 season, the Los Gatos-Saratoga Community Concert Association presents coloratura soprano Erie Mills on April 16 at 2:30 p.m. in Los Gatos High School's Prentiss Brown Auditorium, 20 High School Court.
Mills is a graduate of the College of Wooster in Ohio and holds a vocal performance degree from the University of Illinois. She has sung with many American symphony orchestras and opera groups, including the Metropolitan Opera, the New York City Opera and the San Francisco Opera, and with Teatro alla Scala. Currently, she is a professor of vocal music at San Jose State University; her accompanist for the community concert, Sharon Brook, is also a faculty member of SJSU.
