Police Report
Wild Animal--April 19, 7:17 p.m., on Bachman Avenue. A wild turkey was seen running loose through the neighborhood.
Disturbance--April 19, 6:06 p.m., on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. The caller had received several complaints about a man harassing patrons at a bar. The caller told the man to leave and to not come back.
Commercial Burglary--April 19, 2:50 p.m., on Loma Alta Avenue. Tools were taken from a construction building sometime during the night.
Vacant Building--April 19, 1:07 p.m., on E. Main Street. The front door of a closed business was left wide open. No employees were inside.
Trespassing--April 19, 11:57 a.m., on Winchester Boulevard. The reportee's 18-year-old daughter was told not to come to the house because the parent suspects the daughter is on crank. The daughter broke a window to get into the home and was arrested.
Petty Theft--April 19, 10:14 a.m., on Lark Avenue. A man in a pickup left without paying $27 for his carwash and gas.
Annoyance--April 18, 6:25 a.m., on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. Orange flyers were taped to benches and poles in the downtown area and in Town Plaza Park. The flyers referred to "exterminating" all races but white. Police removed all of the flyers.
Disturbance--April 17, 8:55 p.m., on Wissahickon Avenue. A neighbor saw and heard several teenagers partying at a nearby home. He also witnessed them urinating by the side of the road. Police ended the party and cited the teenagers.
Petty Theft--April 17, 5:52 p.m., on Loma Street. A resident's outgoing mail was taken from the mailbox on April 7. The known suspect has been using information from the stolen mail to change the name on stocks.
Attempted Burglary--April 17, 8:08 a.m., on Wedgewood Avenue. An unknown suspect took the screen off a resident's kitchen window during the night. The suspect tried every window in the house but was unable to get in.
Vandalism--April 16, 9:32 a.m., on Shannon Road. Unknown suspects tagged all sides of a church.
Commercial Burglary--April 16, 8:12 a.m., on W. Main Street. The back door to a business was broken, and the safe was taken sometime during the night.
