Suspicious people--May 2, 1:58 a.m. on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. Two men in a parking lot began to argue; a caller suspected that a fight was brewing. Police contacted the men and sent them on their way.
Grand theft--May 2, 8:55 a.m. on Alberto Way. Someone stole memory from the caller's computer. Police took a report.
Residential burglary--May 2, 3:16 p.m. on Cherrystone Drive. A resident just came home and discovered the house had been burglarized. Police took a report.
Vicious animal--May 3, 7:16 a.m. on Blossom Hill Road. A man's dog was off the leash and was running around, acting aggressively toward passersby. Police sent man and dog on their way.
Suspicious plants--May 4, 1:58 p.m. on W. Parr Avenue. A caller thought he saw two marijuana plants through the front window of a house. Police arrived and discovered they were only houseplants.
Suspicious person--May 5, 1:38 p.m. at Bean and Wilder Avenues. A man was seen chasing cars, throwing things and stumbling. He was gone when police arrived.
Trespassing--May 6, 10:24 p.m. on Pennsylvania Avenue. A caller requested contact by police regarding a neighbor who frequently gets drunk and climbs up on her gazebo at all hours. Police gave advice.
Juvenile disturbance--May 7, 2:48 p.m. on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. A group of youngsters were skateboarding in an underground parking garage. Police sent them on their way.
Suspicious person--May 8, 10:17 a.m. on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. A caller requested police patrol checks for a transient wearing tattered clothes and a tattered blue beanie who has been sleeping in nearby bushes. He was not there when police arrived.
Found property--May 8, 7:41 p.m. on Worcester Loop. Someone found a backpack containing syringes and clothing. Police took a report.
Welfare check--May 8, 11:11 p.m. on Los Gatos Boulevard. An elderly caller needed help in turning off her sprinklers because she cannot see well. Police helped her.
Disturbance--May 8, 11:26 p.m. at Lark Avenue and Oka Road. A man and woman were seen and heard arguing for about 15 minutes. The female yelled, "Don't pull my hair!" The caller then saw the man pacing up and down near a car. Police counseled the couple and sent them on their way. Campbell police had also responded to contact the woman, who said she was O.K.
Citizen assist--May 9, 1:37 a.m. on Los Gatos-Saratoga Road. A man was locked out of his motel room. He couldn't find anyone at the office to help him, so he drove to the police station for assistance. Police contacted the motel manager, who let the man into his room.
