Police Report

Suspicious circumstances--May 4, 12:18 a.m., on Bicknell Road. The caller received two hang-up phone calls and heard what sounded like footsteps on the roof. Police found no suspicious activity.

Suspicious person--May 6, 6:43 p.m., on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. The caller was concerned about a man wearing a beanie who was talking to himself and rolling on the ground. Police counseled him and sent him on his way.

Residential burglary--May 7, 5:16 p.m., on Pinehurst Avenue. The caller found a the sliding glass door unlocked, the house ransacked and items stolen.

Drunk in public--May 9, 3:04 a.m. on University Avenue. The caller chased an intoxicated man out of a back yard, but the man returned. Police arrested him for public drunkenness.

Malicious mischief--May 9, 8:40 p.m., on Blossom Hill Road. A restaurant employee reported three teenagers broke a light bulb, stopped up a toilet and messed up the salad bar. Police located the teens outside and reprimanded them. The restaurant personnel did not want to press charges.

Suspicious vehicle--May 11, 8:26 a.m., on Cambrian View Way. The caller noticed a man and woman in a parked blue sports car and suspected they were having sex. Police searched the area but did not locate the car; apparently the couple left right before police arrived.
