SCU honors Los Gatan

Patrick J. Creegan of Los Gatos was among four alumni of Santa Clara University's School of Engineering honored April 27 at an awards dinner held on campus. Creegan, who received a 1996 Distinguished Engineering Alumni Award, holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and has 48 years of professional experience, including work for the State of California Division of Highways (now CalTrans) and the Santa Clara Valley Water Conversation District. He is the engineer-of-record on more than 20 dams, and played an important role in the design and construction of seven others, including Lexington and Anderson. He currently serves as senior technical adviser to the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California's Eastside Reservoir Program.
