Town to seek bids on downtown parking

    Police Report

    Threats--May 24, 10:40 p.m. on Los Gatos Boulevard. A 50-year-old person reportedly made death threats to people at a church in the evening.

    Theft--May 24, 7:58 p.m. on Johnson Avenue. A resident's license plate was stolen and the registration tab on the other plate was tampered with.

    Domestic Violence--May 24, 2:33 p.m. on Beck Avenue. A 40-year-old man was assaulted by his wife, who struck him with the telephone. The same thing occurred in the past. The man refused a police response.

    Theft--May 24, 12:20 a.m. on Albright Way. The rear license plate was taken from a vehicle.

    Annoying Phone Calls--May 24, 11:01 a.m. on Old Adobe Road. A woman's ex-husband has been calling and harassing her. They had domestic violence problems in the past.

    Vehicle Code Violation--May 24, 10:55 a.m. on Milbrae Lane. A license plate on a Chevrolet was checked by a police officer, who found it had been reported lost or stolen and should be on a 1986 Toyota.

    Residential Burglary--May 23, 11:31 p.m. on Lexington Drive. A resident's gun cabinet was broken into. Cash and jewelry were taken but the guns were left untouched. It is unknown how the suspects entered the home.

    Grand Theft--May 23, 6:36 p.m. on National Avenue. Prescription sunglasses in a case, worth $745 total, were taken sometime between May 19 and May 22.

    Annoying Phone Calls--May 23, 1:57 p.m. on Winchester Boulevard. A woman reported that she has been receiving harassing and threatening phone calls from her ex-husband at her place of business for the past three years.

    Suspicious Person--May 22, 7:36 p.m. on Blossom Hill Road. A man in a white pickup truck told a person to "get in the car." The person ran away and reported the incident to police.

    Property to be Destroyed--May 22, 5:25 p.m. on E. Main Street. A person brought 28 shotgun shells in a metal box to the Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Department for destruction.

    Theft--May 22, 3:42 p.m. on W. Main Street. A bench was reported missing from the front of a local business. There is no suspect information.

    Vandalism--May 21, 8:05 p.m. on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. Two juveniles threw a rock at a local business sign, breaking it. The juveniles ran away but were apprehended by police.

    Vandalism--May 21, 8:05 p.m. on Kavin Lane. Juveniles threw eggs at a resident's home. The resident believes it was the same juveniles who have vandalized the home in the past.

    Vandalism--May 21, 12:21 a.m. on Happy Acres Road. A resident's mailbox was smashed by unknown suspects.

    Burglary--May 19, 12:21 a.m. on Winchester Boulevard. Sometime within the last three weeks, unknown suspects jimmied a lock on a door and removed welding tools and a chain saw.

    Threat--May 17, 11:12 a.m. near Blossom Hill Road. A resident received a threat in the mail from an unknown suspect who threatened to kill her cat.
