    Police Report

    Vandalism--May 25, 11:03 a.m. on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. Business owners reported a sign on the front of their business had been damaged on May 21.

    Harassing phone calls--May 25 at 11:07 a.m. on Bellevue Drive. A resident reported receiving five to six harassing phone calls a day for several months. The caller reportedly held his or her hand over the mouthpiece and hung up after about 20 seconds.

    Code violation--May 25, 1:33 p.m. on Santa Cruz Avenue. A patron of a bar on Santa Cruz road complained of patrons smoking in the bar every time the complainant had been there. Complaints to the bartender had reportedly been ignored. Police warned the bartender and patrons of the complaint and issued a warning.

    Juvenile complaint--May 25, 2:02 p.m. on Hershner Drive. A complainant reported seeing two male and two female juveniles smoking marijuana in a parking lot on or near the street. Police found no one at the specific location but found many young people in the area.

    Complaint--May 25, 10:56 a.m. on Millrich Drive. A resident reported finding dog feces on a piece of red plastic next to her mailbox. The complainant is concerned that previous problems with a hostile neighbor and her pet are starting again. Police gave the complainant advice.

    Code violation--May 25, 5:59 p.m. on Towne Terrace. Police found a subject lying in a truck incoherent. The subject could not be roused, and paramedics were dispatched. The subject was cited for open container violation, and the employer picked up the vehicle.

    Harassment complaint--May 24, 1:35 p.m. on Blossom Valley Drive. A caller reported that a man wearing a red baseball hat and driving a new Camaro had stopped to watch caller's 11-year-old daughter at Alta Vista school. The girl reportedly ran for her father, and the subject left when the father and daughter returned. The daughter reported seeing the subject and the car in the area previously. Complainants were instructed to call 911 if the subject is seen again.

    Harassing Phone Calls--May 17, 4:47 p.m. on Farley Road. An unknown male subject reportedly called a neighborhood resident twice and made obscene remarks.
