Jaguars win indoor title

The Los Gatos Jaguars put together a 6-1-1 season to claim their second straight indoor soccer championship.

Goalkeeper Allison DePalma spearheaded a stalwart defense for the Jaguars in the championship year. The Jags allowed just 12 goals in the eight games and recorded three shutouts.

Crystal Garton, Christina Roskos and Amanda Vallejo were star defenders for the champs, getting support from midfielders Lindsey Adams and Rachel Field.

The Jaguars also led the division in scoring with Jenny Cohen, Sarah Lawton, Lauren Mindigo and Kelly Switzer leading the offensive attack.

Cohen knocked in two goals and Mindigo and Garton added one apiece in the final game of the season to help the Jaguars to the win that clinched the league championship.
