Good Sam physicians elect Los Gatan to directors board
Among the three Good Samaritan Medical Group physicians recently elected to the 12-member San Jose/Good Samaritan Medical Group Board of Directors is Shahe Komshian of Los Gatos. Komshian is board-certified in internal medicine and infectious diseases. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of the Infectious Disease Society of America and the American Society of Microbiology. The Good Samaritan Medical Group became affiliated with the San Jose Medical Group in February 1996. SJ/GSMG is also affiliated with UniHealth, a Southern California-based health-care organization.
Gronlund joins local real estate office
Sales associate C. Don Gronlund has recently joined the staff at Coldwell Banker Fox & Carskadon's Los Gatos office, located at 497 N. Santa Cruz Ave. A Los Gatos resident for the past 30 years, Gronlund has been a licensed Realtor since 1971 and also has experience in financial planning, having held both a securities license and an insurance license. Coldwell Banker and Fox & Carskadon merged last year to create the largest residential real estate company in Northern California.
Farmers Insurance recognizes Michael Logan with award
Los Gatos resident Michael Logan has been appointed to the President's Council, the highest award given by the Farmers Insurance Group of Companies to district managers and agents for outstanding overall performance. Council selections are based upon exemplary customer service, sales production in all insurance lines, professional competence and maintenance of quality standards. President's Council membership is attained by a small percentage of the more than 14,500 Farmers district managers and agents throughout 29 states. Logan, a local district manager, represents Farmers member companies in automobile, homeowner's, life and business insurance.
Susan Pearce named a v.p.
Cornish & Carey Residential Real Estate has appointed Susan Pearce to the position of associate vice president in its Los Gatos office, located at 325 Los Gatos- Saratoga Road. Fewer than 5 percent of employees serve as associate vice presidents--the position represents tenure with the company, financial success and community service.
