Alma CDF station loses lease next spring
The Alma CDF station with its heliport may be forced to relocate and leave the Santa Cruz Mountains unprotected in case of fire

The McDougal brothers and their corporation, LeeLyn Inc. are subdividing and selling the land they purchased last April for $650,000. They are asking $1.3 million for the 4 acre parcel alone on which the Alma CDF station sits. CDF, Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District and Assemblyman Jim Cuneen are trying to raise the cash to purchase the property.
