New and incumbent officers were elected June 12 at the 23rd annual board meeting of the Jewish Community Center of Greater San Jose. Sylvia Metz of Saratoga was reelected president. Other elected officers are Don Fernandez of San Jose, Philip Shanker of Los Gatos and Virginia Hess of Los Gatos, vice presidents; Jim Katzman of Saratoga, secretary/treasurer; Doris Davis of Los Gatos and Barry Frank of San Jose, members at large; and Stephen Brenner of San Jose, immediate past president.
Among the more than 15 other current board members are Cookie Addison, Jason Balaban and Gordon Levin of Los Gatos, Jay Friedman of Monte Sereno and Teri Epsman, Judy Kaplan, Sarah Rothenberg and Rhonda Tilley of Saratoga.
