All-Comers Meets
The Los Gatos All-Comers track and field meets will be held each Thursday through Aug. 12 at the high school track. The entry fee is $3 for unlimited events in the open, high school boys', women's, girls' and master men's divisions.
The pole vault event begins at 5 p.m., with other field events (long jump, shot put, high jump, triple jump and discus) beginning at 5:30 p.m. Track events begin at 6 p.m. The fee for spectators is $2.
Tennis Tourney
A tennis tournament for players in the 12-and-under, 14-and-under, 16-and-under and 18-and-under age groups will be held Aug. 7 at San Jose State University. The cost for the round-robin tournament is $12 per player. Call 924-1249.
Youth Ice Hockey
The Santa Clara Valley Hockey Association Blackhawks have announced that tryouts will begin Aug. 6 for players ages 6-18. Check their website at www.blackhawks.org or call 450-2888.
Girls Basketball
A girls three-on-three basketball tournament for players in grades 6-12 will be held Aug. 14-15 at Stanford University. The entry fee is $175, and each team is guaranteed eight games. Call 1-650-725-7193.
Blazers Tryouts
The Sunnyvale Blazers, a girls 14-and-under A softball team, hosts tryouts for the fall and summer teams on Aug. 14 and 21, 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m., at Homestead High School.
