Dammit Run returns for 26th year

    Fall Ball

    The Hardtke World Of Baseball will offer "Fall Ball" programs for youth ages 8-12 and teens 13-18 for the sixth straight year. The program is designed for the serious player.

    The 8-12 age division offers practice sessions once, twice or three times a week. All practices are held at Hardtke World of Baseball, 148 San Tomas Aquino Road, Campbell. League play begins Sept. 15 and ends Oct. 24.

    The 13-18 age division features a "wood bat" league. The season, which begins Sept. 11 and ends Oct. 20, features two divisions--varsity, players trying out for their high school varsity team; and junior varsity, players trying out for frosh-soph teams.

    De Anza Soccer

    A summer soccer camp for youth ages 5-16 will be held Aug. 16-20, 9 a.m.-noon each day, on the campus of De Anza Community College in Cupertino. The cost is $100 per player. For more information, call 864-8745.

    Girls Clinic

    The Silicon Valley Sting will host a girls soccer clinic Aug. 27-29, three hours each day, in Palo Alto. The cost for the entire clinic is $75, or players can pay $30 per day. Call 374-1312.

    Girls Basketball

    A girls three-on-three basketball tournament for players in grades 6-12 will be held Aug. 14-15 at Stanford University. The entry fee is $175, and each team is guaranteed eight games. For information, call 1-650-725-7193.

    Coaches, Refs

    The Los Gatos United Soccer League encourages coaches to participate in an F license coaching class set for Aug. 13, 6-9 p.m., and Aug. 14, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Preregistration is required. Call 358-9289.
