Malicious mischief--Aug. 1, 1:11 a.m. on Lilac Way. Someone set a bag of manure on fire on the caller's porch. The caller, who heard juveniles in the area, requested patrol checks. Police will be on the lookout.
Theft--Aug. 1, 8:13 a.m. on Casa Grande. Someone stole a 21-speed mountain bike from an open garage. Police took a report.
Welfare check--Aug. 1, 4:02 p.m. on Harding Avenue. A man was talking to his wife--who was at home--on the Internet when they got disconnected. He called back but got no answer. Police checked the house and saw the wife's car was not in the driveway and no one was home.
Possible prowlers--Aug. 2, 12:02 a.m. on Avery Lane. The caller heard voices and people knocking at the front and back doors. Police responded and found the "prowlers" to be intoxicated neighbors.
Neighborhood disturbance--Aug. 3, 6:22 a.m. on Wedgewood Avenue. The caller complained of neighbors pounding and sawing for the last 30 to 45 minutes after being asked to stop. Police counseled them.
