    Auto vandalism--Aug. 9, 10:39 p.m. on Quito Road. A subject reported that vandals had broken the window of her vehicle. She did not know if anything had been stolen.

    Vandalism--Aug. 9, 10:05 p.m. on Lyndon Avenue. A subject reported that a neighborhood school and church had been hit by paintballs. The subject found a bag containing paintballs near the scene of the incident.

    Vandalism--Aug. 9, 9:28 p.m. on Tait Avenue. A resident reported that her house had been hit by yellow paintballs.

    Petty theft--Aug. 9, 4:36 p.m. on Los Gatos Boulevard. A subject reported that suspects stole stereo speakers from his vehicle.

    Petty theft--Aug. 9, noon on Blossom Hill Road. Police took a 16-year-old into custody for theft. The subject was non-combative and officers cited and released him to adult custody.

    Vandalism--Aug. 9, 11:54 a.m. on Victory Lane. A subject reported that vandals broke the window of his business. The subject said four or five windows had been broken during the past few months.

    Auto vandalism--Aug. 9, 9:33 a.m. on Benedict Lane. A subject reported that suspects keyed his vehicle overnight.

    Grand theft--Aug. 8, 2:13 p.m. on Winchester Boulevard. An unknown subject stole a Suzuki dirt bike from a neighborhood residence.

    Vandalism--Aug. 7, 8:30 a.m. on Westhill Drive. A suspect placed a firecracker, possibly an M-80, in the mailbox of a neighborhood residence. The resident was not home at the time. Witnesses described the suspect as a young man with a blond ponytail, dressed in black clothing.

    Petty theft--Aug. 6, 7:18 p.m. on Drysdale Drive. A resident reported that suspects stole two bicycles from underneath a carport overnight.

    Annoying and harassing phone calls--Aug. 6, 5:03 p.m. on First Street in San Jose. A subject contacted Los Gatos- Monte Sereno police regarding a website account that was using his personal information. An unknown subject had placed a false classified ad in a Yahoo classified section and the subject was receiving harassing calls. The subject reported that Yahoo representatives had been unwilling to help him.

    Residential burglary--Aug. 6, 11:59 a.m. on Carlton Avenue. A subject reported that clothes and a space heater had been stolen from her apartment while she was in the process of moving.
