    Police Report

    Vandalism--Aug. 16, 1:59 a.m. on Brooke Acres Drive. A resident reported that vandals egged her home two nights in a row.

    Vandalism--August 16, 2:34 a.m. on Ellenwood Avenue. A subject reported vandals in the area had egged his car.

    Mentally disturbed person--Aug. 16, 4:19 p.m. Police received a report that a 50-year old woman had stated she planned to shoot herself and her children. Police found a 5-year-old child and a 10-year-old child at the scene but found no weapons. The woman was taken into custody and transferred to a medical facility.

    Vandalism--Aug. 16, 11:54 a.m. on Kennedy Road. A resident reported that an older-model silver BMW backed up to her driveway with its lights turned off. The subject said four men were in the car, and she heard pops that sounded like a pellet gun being fired from the car. The subject believed the men possibly were shooting at deer on her property. The resident said she found holes in the sign on her residence that looked like pellet holes.

    Vandalism--Aug. 15, 12:40 a.m. on Brooke Acres Drive. A resident reported vandals had egged her home.

    Warrant arrest--Aug. 15, 7 p.m. on Ellenwood Avenue. A resident reported a loud popping noise in the neighborhood that he believed to be coming from a shotgun. Police responded to the scene and found the noise to be coming from fireworks. One of the subjects discovered at the scene was found to have an outstanding warrant for petty theft. Police arrested the subject.
