    Police Report

    Bomb threat--Aug. 23, 12:44 a.m. on Tait Avenue. A subject told police he had received a threat from a caller stating that the subject had better pay the $100 he owed or a bomb would go off. Police walked through the residence but found nothing unusual. The subject said he had thought it was a hoax, but wanted to be sure.

    Code violation--Aug. 21, 12:21 a.m. on Potter Court. Police received a report of several juveniles yelling and screaming at a pool party. Police dispersed the juveniles from the party and cited the owner of the property.

    Vandalism--Aug. 23, 3:34 p.m. on Seebree Lane. A resident reported vandals had damaged a sign in the neighborhood for the fourth time.

    Vandalism--Aug. 23, 8:11 a.m. on Short Road. A resident reported vandals had egged his house overnight.

    Auto accident--Aug. 23, 11:14 a.m. on University/Los Gatos-Saratoga Road. A subject reported a Caltrans truck had sideswiped a white Ford pickup truck and a brown van parked in the area. The subject said it was unknown whether the driver knew he hit the vehicles.

    Grand theft--Aug. 22, 2:16 a.m. on Los Gatos-Saratoga Road. A subject reported he had been talking to a second subject outside a gas station. When the victim went inside to pay, the suspect reached inside his vehicle and took a bag, musical equipment and other items.

    Burglary--Aug. 21, 2:47 p.m. on High School Court. Unknown subjects removed the window of a church classroom and tried to pry the door from the church office. The suspects made no entry into the building, police said.

    Driving under the influence--Aug. 21, 2:19 a.m. on Lark/Oka Road. A vehicle with a Wisconsin license crashed into a decorative area in the center divide of the location. Police arrested the female driver, a Wisconsin resident, for driving under the influence.

    Burglary--Aug. 21, 2:32 a.m. on Los Gatos-Saratoga Road. A subject attempted to break into an office at the location. The window of the office had been opened and a screen was removed. Witnesses described the subject as a man about 5 feet 8 inches tall, wearing a blue T-shirt, brown jacket, jeans and sandals. Nothing was reported stolen from the location.
